Feeling the 90's

Hey guys! I wanted to start off the post today by telling you about my plans this evening. My bestie Rachel is coming in town from Philly to visit and we are both headed down to the Fashion Industry Gallery here in Dallas for the FashionxDallas fashion show tonight! We will watch nine local designers present their runway shows and also have the opportunity to purchase local clothing and accessory pieces.  I cannot wait! If you are interested in attending, the shows are Thursday through Saturday and tickets are still available at FashionxDallas. I hope to see you there!

Also, I am pretty bummed they happen to be on the same day, but my favorite hair product company Fave4hair and my favorite makeup boutique Blushington are joining beauty forces for a Holiday glam style session tonight! Tickets for that event are available HERE so tell me all about it if you attend!

Ok, on to the outfit. I wanted to dress a little grunge this weekend. I am not exactly sure what put me in this mood, but this plaid Zara scarf just screamed 90's flannel shirt and I thought I had to play up the Rock and Roll vibe. I mixed the scarf with basic Lululemon leggings and a two toned Anthropologie T shirt so I did not compete with the bold scarf's pattern. I also threw on my favorite over the knee boots and wide brimmed hat for a little edge. I decided to go for a more messy hairdo as well, using the smaller Bellami curling wand and Fave4hair's Texture Takeover hairspray. I think it worked well and you  may be seeing more of this messy hair in the near future. I hope you enjoy this 90's throwback look!
