Happy Monday everyone! It was chilly and rainy all weekend here in Dallas, so I wanted to do another make up post today since I did not get to take as may outfit photos as I would have hoped. In recent years I have learned the importance of a strong, well kept brow. It really frames not only the eyes, but the entire face and adds the perfect final touch. I have always loved the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand of products for my brows. I use her Brow Wiz, her Brow Gel, and now her new Dipbrow Pomade has quickly become my new favorite product.
I first comb through my brows with the spoolie on the end of the Brow Wiz. I then take a small, angled brush and lightly trace the outline of my brows with the Dipbrow in the shade "blonde". It is a slightly lighter shade then most of my brows, but I think it gives a softer look at the front end of my brows where my hairs are a very light blonde. After that has been traced, I darken a line underneath with the Brow Wiz in shade "Ash Blonde" and darken the middle and tail end with the Brow Wiz in shade "Medium Ash". It may seem a bit overkill to use two different colors, but I think it gives them the most natural look. When I have finished with that, I lightly brush through them again with the spoolie, and finish them off with the Brow Gel. The Brow Gel helps keep them in place all day long and keeps the color from smearing as well. For the final step I remove any stray hairs with my trusty Tweezerman tweezers and I am good to go!
