Hello again my followers. I have for you today another recipe post of an appetizer I made for our Christmas dinner. I just love goat cheese so much and I was inspired by a few different Pinterest recipes and came up with this delicious and healthy starter. These pear and goat cheese bites are sure to be a hit at your next dinner party!
Pear, Walnut, Prosciutto, Goat Cheese, and Honey Bites
- 3 large pears sliced
- 1 log of goat cheese
- 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
- 1/4 pound of prosciutto
- honey for drizzling
Heat a small saucepan over medium heat and lightly toast your almonds. Set aside. Add a drizzle of olive oil to your saucepan and crisp the prosciutto. Once cooked, place the prosciutto onto paper towels to drain off excess grease. Slice your pears about 1/4 inch thick, avoiding the core. Crumble the goat cheese on top of the pears. Add the crisp prosciutto and walnuts. Finish with a drizzle of honey, serve and enjoy!
