Makeup Monday: Everyday Lip

Happy Monday everyone! For this weeks Makeup Monday post I decided to talk about some lip products I use on a day to day basis. These have become staples in my makeup bag and I want to share with you what each of them does for my lips and why I love them so much. Enjoy!

The first product I have been using in my lip routine for the past few months has been my R+F Lip Micro-Dermabrasion. As my love for matte lipsticks has grown, my lips have gotten much more chapped and dry. This wonderful product helps exfoliate your lips and leaves them soft, smooth, and plump. It is a moisturizing balm containing a fine grit to help remove the dead skin cells. Removing that top layer reveals the smooth surface of a new layer of skin, making your lip products glide right on. It is also so easy to use, you just twist it up and apply it like you would a chaps stick. It will start  immediately removing that top layer of skin. Just rub your lips together a bit and then wipe it off with a tissue. Your lips will feel so soft and will appear fuller because you have stimulated the skin. It is the perfect first step in your everyday routine.

The second step to my routine is the Jordana Easy-Liner For Lips in "Tawny". I think lining my lips helps to make them much more plump, full, and defined. What I love most about this liner is that it is the perfect color. It is just a touch darker then my natural lip color, so it is perfect for creating that fuller lip. These lip pencils also glide right on, and you do not have to worry about sharpening them or scraping yourself like with a wooden pencil. When I apply I usually start by lining the outside of my lip and then filling the rest in. they are great at creating a base for your lipstick to stick to and help prevent your lip colors from bleeding outside your lips. They are also so affordable (I think $2 or $3, amazing). It is just the perfect base coat for any lip color.

The next of my everyday lip products is The Blam's Stainiac in "Beauty Queen". It is an aloe-infused gel-based lip and cheek stain. What I love most about lip stains is their versatility. You can put on just on light coat and it gives your lips the most subtle pinky-red hue, but keep layering it on and you have a long lasting red lip. It also so easy to apply. It contains a doe-foot applicator so you can swipe it on just as you would a lip gloss. it also takes a minute to dry, so you can wipe off excess if you applied too much or outside the lines before it dries to its long lasting, staining finish. This product can also be used as a cheek stain, which is great in the summer time. It is transfer resistant as well, so don't be afraid to dish out some kisses!

Either on top of my lip stain or just by it self is where I wear my next lip product, MAC lipstick in "Creme Cup". I think this is such a perfect, flattering color for every day wear. It gives my lips just the slightest hint of pink and a beautiful sheen. I think this lipstick would be universally flattering on all skin tones as well. It has an amazing vanilla sent and glides on so smooth. I also find MAC lipsticks to be pretty long wearing. The color on Creme Cup is so subtle, that when it starts to wear off your lips still look beautiful. It is definitely my all time favorite lipstick.

The final step is always a gloss, and I am loving this Buxom Full-On Lip Creme in "White Russian". These glosses have the slightest tingling, plumping sensation and make my lips look full and luscious. It almost gives the lips a cooling effect that reminds you the gloss is hard at work. The sent is a mix of vanilla and peppermint, which I adore. These full-on lip cremes also do not contain any sparkle, just a beautiful sheen. They also contain vitamins A and E to help keep the lips supple, yet protected. They are not at all sticky, but I find them to be extremely long wearing for a gloss.

Here are all the pigmented products swatched on my hand, in the order I reviewed them.
