New Bedroom Additions

Good morning guys! It's Friday!!!!! Yayyy! I feel like this week has been long so I'm very excited for the weekend. Today's post is another decor post, which I have not done in a while. I recently ordered two new decorative pillows that I had my eye on FOREVER. These pretty babies are from Anthropologie (of course) and they were originally $128 a piece! I snagged them for a mere $39.95 each! That's less then $80 total!!!! It was kind of the deal of the century, and it's still going on. The pretty pillows come in three colors: mint, yellow, and orange. I chose mint because I feel like it looks great with the charcoal gray wall and the white accents that are already present in the room. Also, for our one year Anni I got the Hubs these cute little city frames of the city where we met (Houston) the city we fell in love (Philadelphia) and the city we got married (Dallas). Our relationship was based on travel, distance, and a bunch of trust so I thought this was a neat little gift. They are from an adorable Etsy shop called BetweenEverything and all of their art is beautiful. Also, the shop owner, Brooke, is so so so nice and easy to work with. I even ordered a few more prints of New York for one of Hubbie's Christmas gifts. You must check out the store. I hope you like my new little additions and it inspires you to add to your own decor!

Cobalt Blue And Family Visits

Hey guys happy middle of the week! I am so excited to share these next few posts with you because you get a bit of a glimpse into my family and where I came from. My mother, father, and brother came to visit me this weekend and my talented little bro took amazing photos of their trip. We had such an awesome time together. My mom and I did some damage shopping while the boys went golfing. My favorite store, Anthropologie of course, is currently having a HUGE sale and I snagged this beautiful maxi up for 30% off! It also comes in a beautiful orange color and, if you like it, I suggest you check out the store immediately before they are all gone!

Museum Date

Hello everyone and happy Monday! I have for you today not only a fab outfit post, but also a few pictures of the awesome date the Hubs planned for us last weekend. I had been dying to go to the new Perot Museum of Nature and Science ever since I had seen the early stages of the museum's construction. Being that my degree is in architecture, I had much more interest in the building itself then the actual museum content. It was designed by Morphosis Architects' founder Thom Mayne, and it truly is a captivating masterpiece. I was overjoyed when my Hubby finally told me where we were going. It was so much fun to see the architecture as well as the amazing exhibits. We also decided to try something new for lunch. We were already downtown, so we walked over to the new Klyde Warren Park, a 5.2 acre deck park designed by James Burnett built overtop of a major Dallas highway. Every Saturday food trucks line up along the park to serve lunch to the visitors. The food was amazing and the urban green space was awesome. I had such an amazing time and am making it a personal goal to explore the city gems that Dallas has to offer.
