Jewels And Denim

Hello again and happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great weekend and an amazing Superbowl Sunday! Personally, I was excited for the Ravens to win because my Hubbie and I watched a special on their former player, O. J. Brigance, who was diagnosed with ALS. I was ecstatic that he got to see his former team win, and they dedicated the game to him. Also, we had a great time at our friend's house celebrating. It is a bit sad for me, but starting tonight, the Hubs is going to be away on business for 10 days! He leaves today and is traveling all through Europe, which is going to be so much fun, especially since this is his first time in Europe. I will be missing him and praying for his safety, but I know he is going to have the best time. Ok so its time to talk about the outfit. i am wearing the chambray shirt that my loving parents got me for Christmas. I love how light it is because it makes it so easy to pair with dark jeans. I am particularly loving these high-waisted ones lately. I am also wearing a few other Christmas gifts, the beautiful necklace is form my amazing in-laws, and the shoes are from the Hubs. I hope you enjoy this casual look and it inspires you to be a bit daring and pair denim with denim!
