Lanterns And Lovely Things

Alright its Thursday, one more day until the weekend! I am very excited because this weekend I am going to the lovely bridal shower of our great friend Sally. Travis and Sally grew up together and are very close, so it is always exciting to celebrate such a joyous, life changing experience with someone so close to you. Sally's fiance, Grant, is such an amazing guy and we are so happy for them both! Besides that exciting news, I also finally got my Park Hill lanterns! I had been lusting over these beauties for a while, and I finally decided to splurge. These lanterns are sold at Pottery Barn, but if you know a business that orders merchandise from Park Hill Collections directly, you can get them at a much better price. Also, I wanted to show off a few other recent gifts I received for Christmas, because they go well with the decor theme of the day. I have also been wanting both these items for years, and my parents and husband were kind enough to get them for me. First, my parents gave me the Anthropologie Beast's Feast Tureen, which is so beautiful I can't even stand it. It is the perfect piece to serve my butternut squash soup from, especially when I make it for the holidays next year. And last, my amazing husband got me the Le Creuset Revolution Utensil Set in the color flame, which is the most beautiful orangy-red hue. We have a few other wedding gifts in the same color, and they just give a great vibrancy to our otherwise neutral kitchen. I have been using them to cook with every day, and I just love them. I am so blessed to have such an amazing family and wonderful friends, and I hope they know how much I truly love and appreciate them.

XOXO

    1. Thanks Rachel! It is actually from RF Imports, the company my husband now works for. They are working on getting a website up, but if you or anyone you know needs an authentic french stone fireplace, let me know ;)

  3. I love these lanterns - they're so rustic but chic at the same time. And that tureen is gorgeous - the feet on it are so unique!
